Securing Peace of Mind

Aboriginal Risk Services Inc. is committed to assisting Aboriginal students throughout Canada by investing in their educations. We have established the A.R.S.Inc. National Aboriginal Scholarship Program to provide financial assistance to Aboriginal students pursuing post-secondary education.  9 awards of $500.00 are available annually to qualified Aboriginal students.

 

- Applicants must be entering or attending a full –time program at a college or university in Canada 
- Good academic standing throughout the school year
- Demonstrate involvement in the community and/extra-curricular activities, including volunteering
- Recommended by Secondary School, Aboriginal Community or Education Counsellor
- Leadership qualities, dedication and good attendance
- Have submitted a completed application form, including a brief (500 words) overview of their interest in their Aboriginal community or their commitment to Aboriginal culture and heritage.

Applications will only be processed after all of the following has been received:

- Final Transcripts
- Letter of Recommendation
- Copy of acceptance letter from post-secondary institution
- Proof of Aboriginal Ancestry
- Copies of awards, diplomas or other supporting documents
- Final Report Card
